                                                                                                                            What is Family Promise?
Family Promise is a homeless family ministry in Kandiyohi County and in many other counties all over the United States. The mission of Family Promise is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

Svea Lutheran Church is 1 of 12 churches in Kandiyohi County that can host up to 14 people, 1 week at a time, 4-5 times per year. A host week is from Sunday evening to the following Sunday morning.

Svea Lutheran is supported in this ministry by Blomkest Baptist Church in Blomkest and St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond.
