Children's Ministry

Faith formation begins in childhood, hearing the basic stories of the faith that will create a foundation for our own story.
Sunday School ages are from 3 yr. olds to 6th graders. We learn through games, crafts, storytelling and songs to show how God loves every one of his children. This year we will be learning from the Whirl curriculum.
We believe strongly that faith formation for children begins in the home, and so we seek to find ways to help parents raise their children in the faith. Through multi-generational events, such as Family Sunday, parents stay involved with what the kids are learning.

Youth and Young Adult Ministries

As we grow into young adults, we experience a world that challenges us to make sense of what we see, hear, feel. Now, more than ever, challenging and relevant conversations help us understand the world through the lens of faith.
Youth in 7th-9th grade participate in our Wednesday night confirmation program. In the program, we learn about God by studying Luther's Small Catechism. We seek to root what we are learning in the Bible, and in doing so, it may feel as if we are reading the Bible for the first time. The youth also have their own class time and discussion during the Sunday education hour starting at 9:45 A.M.
Young adults in 7th grade - college age are welcome to participate in Luther League. 

Evangelism and Global Mission

Where is God in our world? Our evangelism ministry seeks to help us understand what it means that God would die on a cross for our sake, and for the sake of the world. How is God sending us out into this world? What are ways that he equips us to share the good news of his Son with others? Creativity and a desire to share the faith drives this ministry. How is Christ proclaimed in your life? This vibrant missions committee currently has many different projects in the works.
